"For a first-year SXSW event from a burgeoning organization, the Rebelle Road showcase was very well done, was well-curated with talent, and foretold of a strong organization open-minded to fresh ideas of how to solve systemic problems facing women in country." -- Saving Country Music

REBELLE ROADSHOW  March 1, 2018  — We held our California launch party at ThinkFactory Media with performances by country royalty, a homecoming court of new and seasoned artists, and a bevvy of California’s finest Western fans. Storytelling, cowboy comedy & poetry, and musical performances knocked the boots of us and we’re so grateful to everyone who came out.  Thank you Think Factory (Greg Cahn and Lonnie Sills) for hosting, filming and recording our first podcast! Huge gratitude to Carlene Carter, John Jorgenson, James Inveld, Jay Dee Maness, Jeffery Paul Ross and Kip Dabbs for bringing Hillbilly Queen Rose Maddox to life again… to California country bands Calico the Band and NOCONA & newcomer Adrian Brannon and our MC and country goddess herself - Jamie Bridgers for proving that California Country is still kicking up dust on the trail.  And to the authors Holly Gleason , Jonny Whiteside and Scott Bomar for keeping country roots alive.  Live footage from this event coming soon!!!

Showcasing “California Country” artists while supporting the growing network of Americana performers from around the country.

Creating parity and equity for female artists among the performers in every aspect of our programming, including honoring “rebelle” women who’ve paved the way.

Expressing Western culture, heritage and shared experiences of performers along the highways and byways of America through music, storytelling, and other mediums.

Honoring the rich tradition of roots music that was created by Hollywood’s singing cowboys, deepened  by the Bakersfield and Laurel Canyon sound, and expanded by today’s artists who are blazing new trails on the West Coast and beyond.
